5/11/08
The 2008 season got kicked off this weekend at Dunn Tire Raceway Park. Jim Stein had his red Street Stock ready for battle in the 25 lap feature. It was a strong run for the Jim Stein Racing crew as he finished 7th.

9/30/07
Jim went to the US Open. He ran and finished his heat race, but the team ran into problems before the race and weren't able to compete in the feature. This ended out the year that Jim wasn't looking for, but hopefully things will look up for 2008.

9/15/07
Jim Stein's bad luck continued on September 15th. Stein ran the heat race and began to smoke, and he pulled off. In the feature event, Stein ran the first handful of laps good, then the smoking problem came back. Jim pulled off early and ended up 27th.

9/8/07
Jim Stein returned to Lancaster Speedway looking for a good run in his #21. He had to start near the back of the field and came home in the 17th position. I believe the Jim Stein team is looking to get the car set up for the US Open in a few weeks.

7/7/07
Jim Stein came to the track for Autograph Night. The race didn't last long for Jim as he had to pull off early because of car issues. It's been a rough year for Jim Stein Racing but hopefully their luck will change soon.

6/16/07
Jim Stein Racing hit the track this weekend. The bad luck continued though as Jim had to pull off during the Street Stock feature. Check for the #21 to be back next Saturday.

6/2/07
Jim made his return to the track this week, but only ran a few laps before pulling off.  Hopefully next week the car will be ready to take on the full feature.

5/26/07
Jim Stein Racing will hit the track next Saturday at Lancaster Raceway Park. The car is almost ready.

5/6/07
Jim Stein had detrimental engine problems at the Season Opener, resulting in a 27th place finish. The motor is done.

4/29/07
Jim Stein Racing hit the track this weekend for Open Practice. The car ran good and the team will be making some spring changes to better the car for the season opener. Jim Stein Racing's team has changed for the 2007 season. Rick Mahoney has become crew chief. Rick has worked with TJ Johnson helping him obtain his championships. JSR is very excited to have him onboard. Next weekend, JSR will be at the track for practice on Saturday and the Season Opener Sunday May 6th with a 1:30pm start time. New photos are on the Photos Page!

3/22/07

1/21/07
Welcome to the all-new JimSteinRacing.com. Jim Stein Racing is currently undergoing some changes over the off-season. The #33 Bobby Hanel Jr car is in the process of being sold. Moving up to a Super Stock next year is still an option. If not, Jim will most likely still be in the #21 Street Stock. A new paint scheme is in the works, so be sure to check back in at the all-new JimSteinRacing.com for the latest news on JSR.
